About AEL

The Alliance for European Logistics (AEL) was conceived at the 1st European Logistics Summit, in November 2008 and builds on a shared commitment by its members.

The Summit, the first of its kind, saw high-level representatives from both the political and business worlds address some of the key questions facing the logistics sector today. Furthermore, global industry players signed an industry-wide declaration on the future of logistics policy in Europe.

The AEL is committed to raising the profile and understanding of the logistics industry amongst European policymakers. For more information on our objectives, please see our mission statement.

Within this section, you'll also find more information about members, who represent both companies that provide logistics services in Europe as well as companies that use logistics to successfully undertake their business.
