AEL Lunch with Members of the European Parliament
On 18 November 2009, the AEL organised a lunch with Members of the European Parliament, sponsored by Dr Dieter Lebrecht-Koch, vice-chair of the European Parliament Transport Committee.
The lunch, entitled "Climate Protection: Future Challenges for the Transport & Logistics” saw an exchange of views on how the transport & logistics sector can best address its climate change impact going forward and how policy-makers can best respond.
Speakers at the lunch included:
- Dieter Lebrecht-Koch, vice-chair of the European Parliament Transport Committee
- Steffen Frankenberg, the Vice-President leading Deutsche Post DHL’s “GoGreen” climate protection programme
- Alessandro Coda, Deputy General Manager of EUCAR
- Mattia Pelligrini, Member of the Cabinet of Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission for Transport Policy
