Logistics 2030 – Boosting decarbonisation through innovation

 

The Alliance for European Logistics held the 8th European Logistics Summit in Brussels on 19 October 2016. You can find the press release here and AEL’s recommendations for innovative solutions towards a sustainable logistics industry in Europe here.

 

Participants discussed the contribution of logistics to the decarbonisation of Europe. The EU logistics sector promotes a holistic approach to decarbonisation focusing on efficiency, thereby contributing significantly to meeting emissions reduction targets. The Summit focused on discussing innovative solutions that can boost decarbonisation and promote the EU’s competitiveness.

 

Mathieu Grosch – President of the AEL – opened the Summit, with a rich panel made up of top industry representatives and high-level EU policymakers.
